1) WORD: Bestir, DEFINITION: to stir up; rouse to action, IN A SENTENCE: His brother bestirred him so much that they got in many fights.
2) WORD: Periphery, DEFINITION: the external boundary of any surface or area, IN A SENTENCE: The sledge hammer penetrated through the periphery of the box and ruined the item inside the box.
3) WORD: Betokened, DEFINITION: to give evidence of; indicate, IN A SENTENCE: The guide betokened that President Lincoln was killed at this theater. 
4) WORD: Bludgeon, DEFINITION: a short, heavy club with one end weighted, or thicker and heavier than the other, IN A SENTENCE: The massive prisoner used a bludgeon to kill his way through the huge prison to escape.
