1)      WORD:  convalescence, DEFINITION: the gradual recovery of health and strength after illness, IN A SENTENCE: The child was convalescence after he broke his femur.

2)      WORD: Hitherto, DEFINITION: up to this time; until now, IN A SENTENCE: The reminisce of the ship wreckage hitherto today even though we did not know it was there.

3)      WORD: Assiduously, DEFINITION: constant; unremitting, IN A SENTENCE: The child was assiduously talking and the teacher had to sit him outside.

4)      WORD: Erudition, DEFINITION: knowledge acquired by study, research, etc. ; learning; scholarship, IN A SENTENCE: The students are erudition when they pay attention in class.

5)      WORD: Avocation, DEFINITION: something a person does in addition to a principal occupation, especially for pleasure, hobby, IN A SENTENCE: The man does his avocation after he finishes his job.
